What is Batak
Batak
is
an
electronic
reaction
game,
originally
designed
as
a
tennis
trainer
(Bat
Attack)
it
has
evolved
into
a
popular
attraction
for
exhibition
booths
and
conventions,
easy
to
understand,
intuitive
play,
it
attracts
interest wherever it goes.

Pro or Lite?
There
are
two
different
Batak
versions,
the
original
-
Pro
on
the
left
(below)
has
12
buttons
and
is
physically
larger
than
Lite
which features 8 buttons, both play in exactly the same way.
Pro
is
larger
and
gives
players
more
of
a
‘workout’
Lite
gives
smaller players a more even chance to compete.

What
is
the
difference
between
Batak
Lite
®
and
Batak Pro
®
?
The
real
differences
are
pretty
obvious
-
Pro
is
bigger,
just
over
2m
wide,
it
stands
out
more
and
it
is
a
bit
harder
to
play,
it
tests
peripheral
vision
much
more
and
it
is
harder
to
reach
-
more
of
a
workout
-
because
it
is
big
it
does
make
quite
a
statement
too
but
the
game
modes
and
the
principals
are
pretty
well
the
same,
Pro
has
a
‘Junior
Mode’
which
switches
of
the
top
row
of
buttons
for
those
who
cannot
reach
them
-
Lite
is
smaller
so
the
buttons
are
easier
to
reach
and
closer
together,
the
better
option
if
you
are
wearing
restrictive
clothing
or
if
you
are
in
a
warm
room
and
make
no
mistake
-
when
Batak
Lite
is
branded
it
really
catches the eye.
Where did the name Batak
®
come from?
Wikipedia
refers
to
Batak
people
in
Sumatra,
Indonesia
and
the
Philippines
but
do
not
make
the
mistake
of
assuming
that
Batak
in
this
instance
is
a
reference to a mystical game from the East.
Apparently
early
versions
of
Batak
®
were
actually
tennis
training
devices
and
players
used
a
type
of
bat
to
hit
the
buttons
as
they
illuminated
like
a
sort
of
high
tech
Whack
the
Mole
game
and
the
name
Bat
Attack
was
how
it
was
known.
These
days
the
bat
has
gone
but
the
name
which
was
originally
‘Bat
Attack’
remains.
No
you
cannot
use
a
bat
any
more,
hands
only these days please!
